Soma signs for Vissel

Vissel have just signed defender Takahito Soma from 2nd division Bundesliga club Energie Cottbus.
I haven't followed the player's career since he left the J.league a few years ago to play in Portugal. Moreover, I was not aware that he was playing in the 2nd tier in Germany until yesterday when we signed him. I do, however, clearly remember him playing for those scumbags up in Urawa before his European adventure and if he is half as good as what he was back then, he might be able to contribute something to Vissel. He is primarily a left-sided midfielder but I have seen him play at left back. I assume he will play in one of those positions for us, but you just never know with Vissel!
