Vissel were eliminated from this year's Emperor's Cup by F.C. Tokyo in a match that went down to the wire. It appeared the game was heading to penalties but Tokyo grabbed the winner in the 121st minute. All 3 goals came from corners!
This loss was hard to take considering we played a full strength team against a J2 opponent. Still, I would be lying if I said I wasn't used to seeing us bow out of the cup every year in the early stages...
