Vissel have made an offer for Yokohama FM player Daisuke Sakata.
Apparently the club is prepared to pay 200 mil yen for the 25 year old forward, and 42 mil annual salary.
I hope we get him.

Financing the deal shouldn't be an issue. It's been reported that we got over 300 mil for Okubo and I suspect the fee for Leandro wasn't much less. And 42 mil salary is less than both of those players were earning.

In other transfer news, Omiya have signed BOTH Ishihara (Bellmare) and Fujita (Sagan) - equal 3rd top goal scorers in J2 last season. Only 25 and 24 years old respectively, either of them would have been a great signing for us.

Speaking of players that DON'T want to be playing in J2 this season are Davi and Diego. Grampus snapped up Davi from Consadole where he scored 16 goals last season (2nd top scorer in J1), and Diego has moved from Verdy to Kyoto Sanga (no, you didn't misread that) for a J-League record transfer fee of 465 mil yen!
