Shonan 2 - 3 Vissel

Two second half goals from Mogi gave us an away win at Shonan in our final Nabisco Cup match of the season. We took advantage of Shonan's poor cup for (0-6) to go into the World Cup break on a slightly positive note. I didn't see the match but will definitely look out for the replay. It was good to see Tomita's name on the team sheet starting next to Kunie, and the two youngsters, Mihara and Kusunose, both got starts in midfield.

Going by the match report, neither team really impressed and we were lucky to hang on in the end. Let's hope this win does not let us forget the horrendous first half season we've had. If any decent manager is available in the summer, we should make a move.
