Iwata 3 - 2 Vissel

We suffered yet another away defeat tonight at Iwata. Despite going in at half time 2-2, thanks to a brace by Popo (good for him!), they got their third soon after the break and were able to hang on to beat us 3-2. Okubo and Botti were absent from the squad altogether, but the lineup was otherwise unchanged from last Saturday. Not sure about Botti but Okubo has been complaining about "World Cup" tiredness ever since he missed that sitter against Shonan. Maybe he should give Tulio a call and ask him how he keeps fit. Tulio played every minute of every game in South Africa AND has played every minute of every game since coming back AND has scored in 3 of those. Anyway, I digress. To make matters worse, Ishibitsu was sent off 5 minutes from time.

Our last league win away was against Sendai in April. And before that, last August! Perhaps we can break that drought at Yamagata this weekend.
