Post Match Comments

WADA, Masahiro: Overall
"First, I'm glad we were able to get our second win on the trot. We've been working on having 10 players shut down the opposition in defense, and I think Tokura and Yoshida were effective in preventing their 2 center backs from delivering the long ball. The fact that we finished the match without any cautions was even more satisfying and I expressed this to the players in the dressing room after the match."
KITAMOTO Kunie: Overall
"I think the first goal had a big impact on the game. Yoshito capitalized on a mistake at the back by putting away a pretty amazing shot. Moreover, we didn't have to deal with many long balls at our end thanks to Yoshida putting pressure on their defense up front. It's great to get another win, but now we need to consolidate by focussing on getting another victory against Hiroshima next Saturday."
TOKURA Ken: Your first goal
"I knew that Kang-jo would pass it to me, so I just got into position, took my time and put it away. It was a good angle."
A year since you've scored
"Yes, it felt good. I was grateful to the manager for using me today and went into the game particularly trying to impress him. But more than anything, I wanted to give something back to my family and the fans who have never stopped supporting me.
OKUBO Yoshito: Overall
"The hard work and running paid off. They had to put more men forward to try and salvage something which enabled us to get them on the counter, something Kobe is quite good at."
The opener
"It was an angle I wouldn't normally shoot from, especially with my left foot, but I just took a chance as it was the beginning of the game - and it went in."
