WADA, Masahiro: Overall "Our inability to capitalize on the many chances we had, again, was our downfall. I felt we played a good game, pressing them through the middle and maintaining a lot of possession, but they dealt us one damaging blow towards the end which meant we ended up with nothing, a somewhat familiar result of late." | |
La Famiglia: I didn't expect us to have as much possession as we did. Grampus have been on a good run of form and we have been crap. Apart from 10 or 15 minutes of pressure (that we handled quite well) in the first half, it was all us. Having Botti back in the team has meant we don't have to play as many long balls and the team has clearly been working on the speed of our counter attacks. Tanaka can be a burden losing the ball far too often, but Wada has persisted with him due to his pace and work rate and I can understand this. We had 20 shots today, most of which were terrible. If we can't put away one or two of these per game, we might as well give up. |
