La Famiglia: Gamba home and away are the two most important matches each season for Vissel. However, despite our excellent home form against them over the last four years, we haven't beaten them on their own turf for about six years if my memory serves me correctly (don't trust it). Tonight was another shitty trip out to a shitty ground for another shitty result. In all fairness, we didn't play that badly. Wada opted for a Brazilian three-pronged attack indicating we were going for the win. I was disappointed when he substituted Rogerinho at the break - I felt he should have given it a bit longer. His replacement, Morioka, offered very little. The highlight for us was our second goal, lovely back heel from Popo to set up Park for a clinical finish (check out the video). It was a big evening for Scumba as they were sending off Usami in his final match before heading off to Bayern Munich. The post-match ceremony meant we didn't have to ride the train with them.
