Vissel buy Nozawa!

Vissel and Kashima have finally agreed on an undisclosed fee that will buy Takuya NOZAWA out of the final year of his contract at the Antlers. An offer was made 10 days ago for both Nozawa and out-of-contract Yuzo Tashiro whose signing was announced soon after.
Much like the other 3 big signings we have made, Nozawa comes to us leaving a long and impressive career behind at his former club. He came up through the Kashima youth and has played 333 first class matches for Kashima, with a fine tally of 66 goals, many of which have come from free kicks. He can play anywhere in midfield but is usually favored in an attacking role on either the left or right.
While I am delighted to see us signing quality players, I am concerned as to how motivated they will be to join a mid-table club after achieving so much at their former clubs. Nozawa has lifted 11 trophies, including 5 J.League championships, and has never finished lower than 6th in the league. It will be fascinating to see if Wada has the ability to motivate these new signings.
