Brazilians back to Brazil

After a decade in Korea and Japan, Vissel's longest ever serving foreign player, Raphael José BOTTI, joins Brazilian Serie A club Figueirense FC. After being promoted to the top flight last year, the club achieved a very respectable 7th position in the league. Figueirense are one of 2 clubs in the city of Florianópolis on Brazil's south-east coast.

Meanwhile, Rogério Miranda Silva (Rogerinho) has joined Ceará, a club located in the north-eastern part of Brazil. Unlike Figueirense, Ceará had a year to forget in 2011 finishing 18th in the league, resulting in relegation to Serie B for 2012.
