In my season preview (coming soon) I will go into detail about the off-season transfers and preparations for the 2010 season. But there are a couple of things that stood out when I saw the squad number allocation for this year.
* Due to his regular first team appearances in 2009, Matsuoka has been given the #8 jersey. But will he still continue to be played out of position at left back?
* As expected, Okubo no longer has #50. But instead of taking the #9 jersey made available through Marcel's departure, he has Ganaha's old #13.
* And the biggest shock, Ganaha is now our #9!!! I realize squad numbers mean less than they used to back in the day, but based on his performances last year, shouldn't he be #79??
