VISSEL 8 - 0 SANYO
Vissel got our Emperor's Cup campaign off to a decent start last Monday with an 8-0 win over Sanyo Electric Sumoto. The game was as you'd expect, a friendly, one-sided affair that we dominated from start to finish. It was also our first visit out to the Kakogawa Sports Park, a mini-trek that actually turned out to be a lot of fun. The ground reminded me a lot of the one at Miki that we went to exactly 5 years ago. The grassy hill provides an excellent spot to get absolutely trashed in the warm Autumn afternoon sun. To be honest, it was the least football I have ever watched at a football match! Can't wait to do it again.

That looks like a bloody brilliant place to watch a game of football. We have a similar place in Shizuoka but they never use it these days. But I wish they would just once.
